COVID-19 Information

The health and safety of HC Medical’s clients, team members and those who visit our premises is a top priority. As such, and as the risks associated with COVID-19 continue to evolve, we are enhancing our existing measures to provide a safe environment.

Effective from 16 December 2021, all clients and visitors attending our clinics and support centre will be required to be fully vaccinated (or have a valid medical exemption) and provide relevant supporting evidence upon entry.

There are a number of ways to present proof of vaccination. Clients and visitors should refer to the guidelines pertaining to acceptable evidence documentation relevant to their state.

A valid medical exemption means:
  • a valid state-issued medical exemption certificate with a client-provided negative PCR test result (taken within 72 hours prior to the appointment time);
  • a medical emergency (e.g. adverse event); or
  • a clinical review if indicated by your clinician.

Our team will check your temperature on arrival and verify the above information, and to the extent necessary will store the information in accordance with our privacy policy, which is operated in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

We recognise that these measures may cause some clients inconvenience, for which we apologise. However, to ensure a safe environment for everyone, unfortunately we will not be able to permit entry to clients or visitors who do not meet the above criteria.

This policy is subject to ongoing review.
